I saw an elderly person try to drive down the motorway exit and almost onto the wrong side of the motorway. They realised in time before anything catastrophic happened thankfully.

They should be allowed a license but their car should be crushed and they should be taken to jail if the get in the fast lane(s).

Eye tests are required when you get your license here. I think I had to do one when I got mine renewed.

I got a very basic one during my actual driving test, you don;t need any when you renew your licence though.
